The Asian European Council (AEC) is a non-partisan policy research organization dedicated to innovative research and analysis that helps strengthen Asian-European cooperation in all fields and fosters cross-border trade and investment.

The Asian European Council was founded in 1994 at the HEC Paris School of Management by like-minded citizens from Continental Europe, China, Singapore, Malaysia, India and Japan.

By bringing together academics, corporate and political leaders from China, Japan, ASEAN countries and the European Union, The Asian European Council helps devise and implement strategic change through interdisciplinary research in defense, technology, finance, marketing and law.
